Remember that there is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW (Friday, August 8) for Teacher Professional Development.
If you did not pay your student's $25 arts, science, and technology fee during Open House/Registration on Monday, you may do so here. This fee helps LMS fund instructional supplies & materials as well as ongoing technology expenses.
Any parents who did not pick up an LMS t-shirt for their student(s) during Open House/Registration (or picked up the incorrect size) may email lmsptaexecboard@gmail.com to request new shirts. Please include your name, your student's name and grade, and the desired size.
Are you looking for ways to get involved? If you didn't fill out the paper volunteer willingness form on Monday, you can submit your interest via this online form. Our incredible network of parent volunteers are a huge part of what makes LMS so special, and we look forward to working alongside you for another great school year!
LMS is forming its own cheer team! If your student is interested in joining the team, please complete this registration form by August 12.
LMS Cheer is open to 2nd through 5th grade students. Practices will be held on Tuesdays after school until 4:30 p.m. and will run September through March. Performance opportunities will include rec league games, Lions Day assemblies, and PTA meetings. The cost of the uniform is $150 and can be paid online here.

The LMS Carnival is a beloved school tradition and one of the most important fundraisers of the year - and its success is reliant on our awesome teacher, parent, and community volunteers. We look forward to everyone coming together to help in some way!
If you are interested in volunteering, let us know by checking the Carnival box on the LMS volunteer form. Stay tuned for upcoming details on class contests, Carnival Kitchen, and other ways to get involved.
Are you new to the LMS community? Meet other new parents, PTA board members, and LMS administrative staff at a casual coffee gathering next Friday, August 15, from 8:15 to 9 am in the cafeteria.
Parents who would like to attend should check in with their ID at the front office before proceeding to the cafeteria.
Stay informed about everything happening around LMS by joining the PTA. When PTA gets involved, our children benefit. Our goal this year is to have 100% parent and teacher participation.
