Registration
The LMS Open House and Registration will take place from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Please make sure you have registered your student(s) online before August 3 by clicking here.
When you arrive, proceed to the gym where there will be tables set up for classroom lists, school fees, the PTA, the Cafeteria, School Aged Childcare (SACC), the School Nurse, the Good News Club and Carnival.
Proceed to the office table to pay instructional fees. Art, Science and Technology fees are $25.00 per student and eLab Classroom Fees are $15 per student. To pay instructional fees in person, be prepared to pay via QR code or with your checkbook. You may also complete these purchases online before Registration.
School Age Child Care will have a table for parents to register for after school childcare. There is no early morning care at LMS.
The PTA table will have forms to sign up for membership, Parent Portal account information and sign ups for volunteer opportunities. If you pre-ordered a 2025-2026 yearbook last school year, those will be available for pick up. To save time, you can complete your PTA membership online today!
If you pre-ordered your School Supply Kit, they will be available for pickup at Registration, in the hallway outside of the gym. After visiting all applicable tables, you can meet your teacher in their classrooms and drop off school supplies.
Kindergarten parents, if you have not already signed your child up for their phase-in days, you will proceed to the Kindergarten wing to do so.
ParentSquare
Beginning this school year, ParentSquare will serve as our unified communications platform, bringing district, school, classroom, and extracurricular communications together in one place. ParentSquare will be the primary communication tool across HCS as well as LMS. ParentSquare will replace all other current communication tools, bringing messaging, alerts, and family engagement into one streamlined system. Class Dojo will no longer be used; teachers will message through ParentSquare as well as email. There is no app to download; contact information is linked to PowerSchool to ensure notification accuracy.
Please refer to the email you received from HCS for more information on how to access and set notification alerts as we begin implementing this new communication platform.
Parent Portal
Make sure you have access the LMS Parent Portal — your go-to dashboard for staying connected and informed throughout the school year.
Inside the portal, you’ll find:
- Weekly Ledgers and important updates
- 2026-2027 School Supply Lists
- The most up-to-date PTA calendar
- Parent forms and documents
- A private photo gallery
- Helpful links to LINQ Connect and Givebacks
Getting started is easy:
- Locate your account activation email
- Set your password
- Log in at lookoutmountainpta.org → Parent Portal
