The LMS Library is excited to host the Scholastic Book Fair next week, November 3-7!
The Scholastic truck will bring engaging books, writing supplies, and fun posters for students to shop for- all to benefit our wonderful Library!
Forms went home in backpacks this week detailing your student(s)' shopping times. There will be no before or after school shopping times this year, but we will have open shop times for parents and grandparents.
Open shop times:
Please send your child’s money for the Book Fair in a labeled envelope or sandwich bag. The Book Fair can take cash, credit card, checks made out to LMS, or you can load funds in your student's Scholastic e-wallet. Parents can also use credit cards during open shop.
Click here to shop our fair online starting November 1 or to set up your child’s e-wallet at the LMS online store.

We still need more volunteers for the Book Fair!
No experience is necessary - just a willingness to help kids find good books.

Each year, the Laurelwood Garden Club (LGC) sells handcrafted holiday mailbox decorations and uses the proceeds to support grounds improvement projects at LMS and Fairyland Elementary School. This year will be the 41st consecutive year of this beloved tradition.
Participating in this annual fundraiser is a wonderful way to show your holiday spirit and create beautiful shared spaces around our school and community.

Don't forget to submit photos for the 2025-2026 school year to be included in the LMS Yearbook!
Send in your Carnival, cross country, and upcoming LMS Thanksgiving Lunch photos (along with any other school event photos!) to lookoutyearbook@gmail.com.
Giving to the Annual Fund is a great way to show your support for your child's education - and is 100% tax deductible.
Donations to the LMS Annual Fund support 8 positions at the school, in addition to providing valuable resources for faculty and staff, all while ensuring our students can learn and grow in a safe environment.
Our goal is 100% parent participation this year, so let's work together to make it happen! You can mail in your donation, submit your donation online, or use the QR code below to pay directly.
If you have any questions, please send an email to lmsannualfund@gmail.com.
