This is our first Ledger of the new school year. If you would like additional family members added to our weekly distribution list, please email Kirsten Yates with their names and email addresses.
The LMS open house/registration will take place from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025. Parents and students will have a chance to visit their classrooms and meet with their teachers!
Please make sure you have registered your student(s) online before August 4 at the following link: https://www.hcde.org/students_families/registration_information. And, please be sure to bring a checkbook for instructional and PTA membership fees.
When you arrive, proceed to the gym where there will be tables set up for classroom lists, the PTA, the cafeteria, School Aged Childcare (SACC), the school nurse, and school fees.
Proceed to the office table to pay instructional fees. Fees are $25.00 per student payable to LMS. Fees are also payable online at https://hcde.schoolcashonline.com/
School Age Child Care will have a table for parents to register for after school childcare. There is no early morning care at LMS.
The PTA table will have forms to sign up for membership and volunteer opportunities. If you pre-ordered a 2024-2025 yearbook last school year, the printed yearbooks will be available to pick up, as well. After visiting all applicable tables, parents and students should proceed to their homeroom to meet their teacher. You are welcome to drop off student supplies in the classroom at this time.
Kindergarten parents will sign up for their two phase-in days in the kindergarten classrooms.
