The big day is almost here!
Tomorrow is the last day to turn in your order forms for Carnival wristbands and T-shirts. Wristbands serve as your student's ticket to the Carnival - order in advance to skip the lines the day of! Each star on the wristband equates to $1, allowing your student to play games, purchase items from booths, and pick up a drink or treat.
Carnival T-shirts are also a fun tradition, with students and parents wearing them on Carnival day. We especially encourage volunteers to order T-shirts to wear when working booths.
Please also be sure you have turned in a permission slip for your student(s) to walk in the parade from LMS to the Commons. You are welcome to walk alongside your child or meet us at the Commons at 3 p.m.
In case of rain, the Carnival will be moved to Tuesday, October 7.

We are excited to report that we surpassed our goal, selling a total of 1,165 books and raising $11,165 for important technology needs around the school.
Congrats to our Carnival King and Queen!
And a special thank you to LMS parent Charla Nix, who volunteered her time and talent to coordinate all of the logistics for the sale on behalf of LMS. We appreciate you!

Don’t forget to bring in your amazing entrees and bakery items THIS TUESDAY – Carnival Day!
Deliver your items to Sarah Ellis at morning car line from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. (look for the big white coolers) OR drop them off at the Kitchen tent from 11:00 a.m. - to 1:00 p.m. at the Commons.

The last day to pre-order is this Sunday. Order several things for yourself and stock up! Or buy a few things and bring something as a gift to a teacher or friend!
If you pre-order, come to the Kitchen Tent to pickup and PAY for your order with credit card, cash, or wristbands. Bring a cooler or soft sided bag with icepacks to package your order - and then drop off your cooler and leave it at the Kitchen Tent until you’re ready to go home!If you don't get a chance to pre-order, come see us to purchase meals and baked goodies on Carnival Day! We will be able to accept cash, check or credit cards via Square.

Please send in your Lookout Mountain community directory pre-order forms by tomorrow, September 26! Pre-ordered directories will come home in backpacks in early October.
With phone numbers and addresses for both Tennessee and Georgia Lookout Mountain residents, the directory is a wonderful resource to help our community stay connected, while also serving as an important fundraiser for our school. Directories are $18 each, and our goal is for each family to purchase at least two - one to keep, and one to give to a neighbor.

Are you looking for books to read and games to play with your children this fall? You are in luck - Lookout Mountain's second book and game share and exchange is happening THIS WEEK!
Donations boxes are posted outside LMS and Fairyland Elementary School, as well as inside the Hive and Lookout Mountain City Hall through tomorrow. Make sure to drop off your used items, and then come to Lookout Mountain City Hall on SATURDAY to swap or grab other gently used items for fall and winter fun!
