Field Day will be held next Friday, May 16 (with a rain date of May 20), and we are looking for a few more parent volunteers to help make the day a success!
Click here to sign up to lead stations and participate in the fun. We need additional volunteers for the afternoon slots (for grades 3 - 5), in particular!
Kindergarten through 2nd grade will participate between 8:40 and 11 a.m., and grades 3 through 5 will head out for the fun from noon to 2:20 p.m.
All students will join together for the waterworks from the fire department to close out the school day.

Kindergarten Registration opened Monday, March 31.
Make sure to get your student registered to prepare for this important transition. Registered families will receive a special invitation to district and community events, details about the LMS Open House in August, and other resources to support kindergarten readiness.
Returning Student Registration opened Monday, April 28.
Families of returning students can now register for the upcoming school year. We encourage all families to register their returning students in May to prepare for the start of school on August 6, 2025. Log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and click the 2025-2026 Returning Student Registration link. Please upload 2 recent proofs of residency when completing the returning student registration. Contact the LMS Office if you need assistance with your Parent Portal login credentials.
New Student Registration for all grades will open Monday, June 2.
Visit the Hamilton County Schools Registration Hub to find the required documents so that you can be ready to get started.
We are so appreciative of the 60% of parents who have given to the Annual Fund this year. There's still time to donate! Help us reach our goal of 100% parent participation this fiscal year that ends June 30. Funds are used to support important staff positions at LMS.

Reminder for parents of students who are interested in cheerleading!
LMS is organizing a cheerleading team for the 2025-2026 school year. Parents of rising 2nd - 5th graders who are interested in joining the team should complete this interest form to receive additional information.
Completion of the form does not guarantee a spot or serve as a commitment to the team.
Cheerleaders will practice from September through March, with opportunities to perform during Lion's Day, recreational league games, and other community events.
