The LMS Carnival is one of the most exciting events of the school year for students - and one of the most important fundraisers for the school. Class contests start in two weeks to help gather gently used items to stock some of the most loved carnival booths!
This is a great way for the whole family to help support the event. The class that brings in the most items by the end of each week will win a special surprise!

We are gathering donations for the LMS Carnival Kitchen and need your help!
The Carnival Kitchen Tent sells homemade freezer meals or freshly baked items to parents, family members, and friends on Carnival Day. But to have delicious items to sell, we need your donations of homemade meals and sweets! Lasagna, poppyseed chicken, soup, egg muffins, or breakfast casseroles can all be made before and frozen. If you prefer to bake, send in cookies or a cake! Start thinking now about what you can make—double your recipe and freeze it for the Carnival.

Thank you to all of the parents who joined us at the first PTA general membership meeting of the school year on Tuesday evening. If you weren't able to make it but are still interested in joining the PTA, it's not too late!
As a PTA member, you will stay informed about everything happening around LMS and serve as an important advocate for our community of students. When PTA gets involved, our children benefit. Our goal this year is to have 100% parent and teacher participation.
