If you did not pay your student's school fees during Registration, you can complete that purchase online here. These fees support our Related Arts teachers and help provide instructional supplies, materials, and ongoing technology resources. Art, Science and Technology fees are $25 per student and eLab Classroom fees are $15 per student.

As a PTA member, you will stay informed about everything happening around LMS and serve as an important advocate for our community of students. When the PTA gets involved, our children benefit. Our goal this year is to have 100% parent and teacher participation.

Rain date is a full week later, Thursday, October 29.

Stuffed Animal Collection is August 31-September 4
Costume Collection is September 8-11
Jars are being collected September 14-18
Carnival T-Shirts and Wristbands:
T-shirt and Wristband orders will start the week of October 5th, which is the week before fall break.
T-shirts and Wristbands will be fulfilled on one date - October 20 (with no rolling fulfillment)
Carnival Kitchen is a favorite Carnival tradition where families can purchase homemade freezer meals and freshly baked goods to enjoy long after the festivities. This beloved booth raises important funds for LMS, and its success depends on the generosity of our community. Will you help us stock the Kitchen Tent?
There are lots of ways to contribute:
Make a freezer meal.
Lasagna, poppyseed chicken, breakfast casseroles, soups, and more can be made ahead of time and frozen for Carnival. The next time you cook, double your recipe and freeze one for the Kitchen Tent!
Bake something fresh.
Cookies, sourdough bread, cakes, and other goodies can be baked the week of Carnival.
Use your favorite recipes, or use this as a chance to try something new! The more contributions we receive, the more we’ll have available to sell and raise funds for LMS.

This school year, ParentSquare will serve as our unified communications platform, bringing district, school, classroom, and extracurricular communications together in one place. ParentSquare will be the primary communication tool across HCS as well as LMS. Contact information is linked to PowerSchool to ensure notification accuracy. ParentSquare will replace all other current communication tools, bringing messaging, alerts, and family engagement into one streamlined system.
There is also a ParentSquare app to have access on your phone throughout the day.
Class Dojo will no longer be used; teachers will message through ParentSquare as well as email.
Please refer to the email you received from HCS for more information on how to access and set notification alerts as we begin implementing this new communication platform.
WIG OUT at Music on the Mountain on Saturday, August 29th!
Music on the Mountain is the annual fundraiser for our neighboring mountain elementary school. It is always a fun evening and we hope you will consider supporting by attending in person or making a bid on some of their auction items! The auction is live and tickets can be purchased at motm.fairylandschool.org. Early Bird pricing ends this Friday, August 21st.
