PTA General Membership and Parent Orientation Sessions This Evening

The first PTA General Membership meeting of the school year will take place in the LMS Auditorium TODAY (Tuesday, August 19) from 5:30-6:00 p.m. Join us for important announcements and updates you won't want to miss, including:

• A back-to-school welcome and update from Principal Emily Haney
• A walk through of the new PTA website AND instructions on how to access the new parent portal, where you can sign up to volunteer, submit photos for the yearbook, and more
• Details about the upcoming Hamilton County Schools Coupon Book Sale
• Ways to get involved in the LMS Carnival, including staffing booths and donating meals for the Carnival Kitchen tent

After the meeting, parents of 1st-5th graders will proceed to orientation sessions in their children's classrooms.  There will be two identical sessions so that parents with children in different grades will be able to attend both.

• Session 2: 6:45-7:15 p.m.
