Families of rising kindergarteners, mark your calendars!
LMS is already hard at work planning a smooth transition into kindergarten for your student and family.
Please join LMS administration and staff for a Rising Kindergarten Parent Meeting next Thursday, April 23 from 5:30–6:30 PM, in the LMS auditorium.
The link to register for Kindergarten can be found on the Hamilton County Schools website.
Once you are registered, LMS asks that you please sign up for a screener session, where your child will have an opportunity to meet the kindergarten teachers and visit the classrooms for the first time.
Screener sessions will be held from 3:15 to 4:55 p.m. in the LMS Library on the following dates:

The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) is underway for grades 3 through 5. Testing will continue next week, from Tuesday, April 21 to Thursday, April 23.
Good sleep and nutritious meals will help students do their best! Please prioritize consistent bedtimes, healthy breakfasts, and arriving to school on time during these testing windows. Small routines at home can make a big difference in helping children feel focused and ready to succeed.
